Understanding mental health in the workplace has never been more important.
The QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) qualification gives learners the confidence to help support mental health within their workplace.
This is a nationally recognised and regulated qualification, specifically designed for existing QA Centre IQAs. This qualification enables IQAs to develop their understanding of mental health issues in the workplace, as well as how best to support friends, relatives, and employees experiencing mental health issues.

What's Covered?
As a learner, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively promote positive mental health within your own workplace, making it the ideal qualification for mental health champions/first aiders, Human Resources, managers, supervisors, and team leaders.
During this 2-day course, you will also cover:
- Identifying characteristics and features of common mental health conditions
- The importance of your own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider
- Best practices for employers in relation to mental health in the workplace
- Supporting those experiencing mental health issues at work
During the course, our trainers will provide an engaging learning experience through the use of video, case studies, real-life examples of mental health issues, workbook activities, group discussions, and much more.
*What is a QA Centre IQA? Individuals that are part of an existing Qualsafe Awards training centre that possess an Internal Quality Assurance qualification. Learn more about how to become IQA-qualified here.

Note: To remain an approved Mental Health First Aider in the Workplace, learners will need to update their QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) every 3 years.
